Precision Air is located in Columbus, Michigan and is owned and operated by Doug Clark.  Doug’s expertise is a unique understanding of air gaging that only years of experience can offer such as the two-circuit rifle bore spindle which is the first of it's kind.  This spindle allows the user to measure the rifle bore diameter and groove diameter (lands and grooves) simultaneously, drastically reducing measurement redundancy and compliance work load.

Doug has been in the gaging industry for over 40 years starting with Sheffield/Bendix. In 1979, Doug went into business for himself and started Douglas Gage where he quickly became a supplier to other gaging houses as well as the automotive and aircraft industries.  After twenty years, he decided to focus only on the small, intricate, challenging tooling and Precision Air was born.  Most recently, the demand for two-circuit rifle bore spindles has refocused his efforts exclusively on gun related measurement instrumentation.  Chamber gages and masters are also available.
